Key term: Psychiatric home nursing (psychiatrische häusliche Krankenpflege): a qualified nurse visits you at home regularly. Your doctor or psychotherapist prescribes it, and your health insurance covers the costs – apart from the statutory co-payment (Zuzahlung).. A qualified nurse comes to your home – so that you can go on living in your own home and with your family, as independently as possible.

Questions about this service
We decide that together with the prescribing practice – usually between once and several times a week. If you are feeling worse, we come more often.
Yes. The law provides for a co-payment (Zuzahlung) for home nursing: 10 per cent of the costs for a maximum of 28 days per calendar year, plus 10 euros per prescription. If you are exempt from co-payments, there are no costs for you. Once you have reached your annual limit (Belastungsgrenze), you can apply to your health insurance for an exemption.
Psychiatric home nursing is deliberately time-limited, usually to four months. An extension is only possible in exceptional cases. We discuss with you and your practice in good time how things will continue afterwards – for example with one of our other services.
Integrated care is arranged through practices with a special contract and lasts up to two years. The support is closer. pHKP, on the other hand, can be prescribed by any psychiatric or psychotherapeutic practice.
No. We are bound by confidentiality. We will not pass on anything without your express consent.
